Emily Carter is an award-winning British designer specialising in hand illustrated silk accessories and interiors. The collections are inspired by a lifelong interest in the natural world, where each design tells its own unique and individual story.
The design process begins with detailed original drawings by Emily, where her endless experiments in colour and composition lead to the finished design.
Printed on high quality materials and hemmed and packaged by hand, every product is made in England to the highest standard. With emphasis on timeless and original design, our products are intended to be treasured for a lifetime, and are made using the finest British craftsmanship.
The brand is stocked internationally, and has been featured in publications such as British Vogue.
ABOUT EMILY
Emily is an award-winning artist and illustrates each of her scarves and prints entirely by hand with pen and paper. She has stocked her products internationally in stores such as Liberty and Harvey Nichols, and has won numerous awards for her work, including Forbes 30 Under 30.
Emily is passionate about local production, ensuring that all her products and packaging are made in the United Kingdom. She strives to produce in small batches to minimise waste, further reflecting her commitment to sustainability.
Additionally, Emily works as a wildlife illustrator, combining her love of nature into various books and publications. She also works closely with wildlife charities such as The Royal Entomological Society.
