OUR STORY
Emily Carter is an award-winning British designer specialising in hand illustrated silk accessories and interiors. The collections are inspired by a lifelong interest in the natural world, where each design tells its own unique and individual story. The design process begins with detailed ink pen drawings by Emily, where endless experiments with colour and composition lead to the finished design.
Printed on certified GOTS materials and hemmed and packaged by hand, every product is made in England. With emphasis on timeless and original design, our products are intended to be kept for a lifetime, and are made using the finest British craftsmanship.
The brand is stocked internationally, and has been featured in British Vogue and worn by Kate Moss.
ABOUT EMILY
Emily founded her brand in 2015 whilst studying at London College of Fashion. With a lifelong passion for illustrating wildlife, along with her upbringing in the countryside, her work continues to draw inspiration from the British insects, birds and flowers that fascinated her as a child.
Committed to British craftsmanship, Emily continues to produce her collections and packaging in the UK, with an emphasis on quality, longevity and small-batch production.
Alongside her brand, Emily works as a scientific illustrator, contributing to a number of publications and collaborating with organisations including Kew Gardens and RES.
Emily has also been recognised by Forbes and Drapers for her work.

All of our products are proudly made in England, using the best quality fabrics and printing techniques.

We work with a small selection of UK factories which we have proudly supported for the last 8 years.

Our packaging is recyclable, biodegradable or made from recycled materials where possible.

Our products are produced in small quantities and are not discarded or discontinued each season.
