From Sketch to Silk: The Hummingbird & Lotus Scarf
The Hummingbird & Lotus Scarf brings to life a colourful garden filled with ruby-throated hummingbirds and tropical butterflies, alongside milk snakes which are ancient symbols of transformation, protection and healing.
They weave with dragonflies and damselflies, while orange blossom, lily pads and lotus flowers emerge from the middle of the design, sitting on a pond depicted by the turquoise background and baroque fountain.
This design was inspired by a stately home near where Emily grew up, which she visited frequently as a child, and remains one of her best-selling designs.
